All of these lucky dogs have been successfully placed into permanent, loving homes. They are living with people from various lifestyles. Each dog is carefully matched to his/her new family. There are many more dogs waiting for a second chance at life.
Tucker
ABE was one of four abandoned pups in Tennessee who is now renamed TUCKER and is living in Maine. Here are his photos, as well as a note from his new mom, thanking his foster mom:
Tucker is such a love! We feel fortunate he had the opportunity to be raised by you guys — he has such good manners! Tucker went for a drive this morning to deliver Meals on Wheels with Mom and she came back and said he’s the perfect dog, so I guess he did fine!
We put the crate away Sunday night – you guys did an awesome job in housebreaking him. We’ve no worries. Also, he loves to snuggle up with that wonderful blanket you included for him. That was so sweet!
Thanks again for your loving care of him over the past several months. He’s a wonderful, sweet little guy because of it!

These pups to the right, are two of Tucker’s siblings…how funny that the three of them are all adopted into different homes in Maine!
First photo is Bess now named Zoe and to the far right is Nellie now named Riley.
Hatfield
He has really adapted to his new life, even going as far as meeting new dogs in chat rooms. Being a terrier, her was looking for some excitement and originally thought it was a “cat room”. But now he has gotten over his embarrassment, and has even started posing online!

I want to begin by saying that I could have never predicted loving a dog so much! Shea has been an absolute dream, and I continue to thank you for the HUGE part you played in her adoption.
This morning we went for our daily walk in the park. She very uncharacteristically picked up a stick & started running with it in the snow. My response was “Great, maybe you can teach a dog to retrieve!” So when she dropped it, I picked it up & was about to throw it when I noticed her immediately cower & whimper on the ground beside me. Each time i picked up the stick, I got the same reaction. And each time i tried to reassure her (with much affection) that I was going throw the sick, not hit her with it. It got me wondering how many of the dogs you rescue have had such an experience and how in heavens name anyone could ever be so cruel as to abuse a dog.
Anyway, I hope that over time & whether or not she ever learns to retrieve, we can help Shea to forget her fears. Not this year but the next, our oldest will be going off to college.At that point my hope is to adopt another dog from you.

ABBEY & BRODIE were each adopted separately into the same home…Here’s an update note from them, as well as lots of photos! Thought you might like to see some pictures of our summer adventures! We had an awesome first summer with our new Mom and Dad!
Thanks again for all that you do. You made this all possible for us! The lives that you save and the joy that you bring people and doggies like us is all so very priceless. Y’all are the greatest (we still have our Tennessee accents)!
